名古屋の繁華街のあちこちでイルミネーション点灯されていますが、
「中部電力 MIRAI TOWER」の場所には、イルミネーションが施されているかなぁと思い見に来てみました。案の定きれいなイルミネーションが施されていました。何か水盤のうえに 花のかたちをしたライトが輝いています。
ネットで調べてみました。
Illuminations are lit here and there in downtown Nagoya,
I came to see if the place of “Chubu Electric Power MIRAI TOWER” was illuminated. As expected, the illuminations were beautiful. Something in the shape of a flower on the basin.
I looked it up on the net.

花は、カキツバタを模したライトでした。
かきつばたは、愛知県の県の花に指定されています。
かきつばたといえば、伊勢物語、東下りの段で在原業平がかきつばたを句頭において詠んだとされる次のような短歌が有名です。

The southernmost area of Hisaya-odori Park Mizube Hiroba, which has a total length of about 80 m, is fantastically colored by a blue laser and a light with the motif of the prefectural flower, Japanese iris. 』\

The flower was a light that imitated a Japanese iris.
Kakitsubata is designated as a flower in Aichi prefecture.
Speaking of iris, the following tanka, which is said to have been written by Ariwara no Narihira at the beginning of the phrase, is famous in the story of Ise.
